CARE INSTRUCTIONS: GOLD VERMEIL & GOLD PLATE

To extend the life of your vermeil and gold plated jewelry, avoid wearing when washing hands, showering, applying perfumes or lotions and when working out. The gold coating can last many years with the proper care. To clean, buff gently with a soft and dry 100% cotton cloth or a microfiber cloth. Vermeil jewelry should not be aggressively cleaned, as the gold coating will be thinned. Do not use jewelry cleaner on your gold plated jewelry.

Harmful agents listed below in addition to water (i.e. showers, pools, beaches, etc.) should be especially avoided when wearing vermeil jewelry. 

Moisture, lotions, perfumes, chlorine, household cleaning agents, salts - these are just few of the many things that can encourage tarnishing and harming your jewelry.
